Posted by admin on August 21, 2013

The Northern Ontario Country Music Association has found some representatives for the Temiskaming District.

We'd like to welcome Eddie and Debra Renaud as new representatives of the NOCMA for the Temiskaming District.

District representatives are volunteers that help our association organize events, musicians, and membership in their local area.  We have existing representatives in Sault Ste. Marie - Algoma District, Sudbury, North Bay - Nipissing, Timmins - Cochrane - Kapuskasing, Temiskaming, and Manitoulin Island as follows:

  • Linda & Yvan Nadeau - Timmins, Cochrane & Kapuskasing
  • Glen & Beth McDougall - Manitoulin Island
  • Scott Infanti - Sudbury
  • Mike Case - Algoma District
  • Frank "Newfie" Robbins & Cheryl Hughes - Nipissing- North Bay
  • Carol & Dave Patterson - head office in Sault Ste. Marie
  • Eddie and Debra Renaud -Temiskaming District

Our representatives help to determine inductees into the Great Northern Opry and the Northern Ontario Country Music Hall of Fame.  They also assist in marketing and organizing buses for excursions to the Annual Northern Ontario Country Music Awards Weekend that takes place in early November every year.  Representatives don't need to be musicians, but should have an appreciation of Country Music and know many of the musicians in their district area.

To be considered as a volunteer for one of these positions, please use our Contact Page and let us know of your desires to help.
